just when i thought season 4 satisfy my wish of peyton and lucas being together, season 5 comeback with a hateful bang....
i always wish for this..that they'll end up together...is that so much...

Four years since the end of High School, life has thrown everyone in different places. Lucas has enjoyed success with his first book but is suffering from writer's block as he attempts to write his second book. He is also in a relationship with his book editor, Lindsey Strauss (guest star, Michaela McManus), having broken up with Peyton. Peyton was in LA working for a record company while Brooke has turned Clothes Over Bro's into a global phenomenon, however she is still unhappy about the lack of fulfillment in her life, so she and Peyton decide to return to Tree Hill together. Nathan and Haley are raising four-year-old Jamie in Tree Hill and Haley is a teacher at Tree Hill High, where Lucas is Coach of the Ravens and Skills is Assistant Coach. Nathan, however, has been near-paralyzed after a fight in a bar. His motivation is low and he has become depressed. He remains in his wheelchair and consistantly drinks. Meanwhile, Haley's teaching job had a rough start to it because her students take advantage of her and cause a lot of problems for her.
......sigh! when cant they'll really be together? is this another dawson and joey story....
